Simple Bread
Bread you can make at home
INGREDIENTS:
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon active dry yeast
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1 teaspoon salt1 cup warm water
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
DIRECTIONS: In bowl, whisk together the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Add the warm water and vegetable oil to the bowl and mix until a soft dough forms. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead until the dough is smooth. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean towel and let it rise in a warm place for about an hour. Preheat the oven to 200°C and grease a loaf pan. Punch down the risen dough and shape it into a loaf that fits into the prepared pan. Place the loaf in the pan and let it rise for another 30 minutes. Bake the bread for 40 minutes. Remove the bread from the pan and let it cool before slicing and serving.
