Beef Stroganoff
Traditional Beef Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
1 lb beef sirloin, sliced thinly
2 tbsp butter
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 tbsp flour
1 cup beef broth
1/2 cup sour cream
Salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS: Melt the butter in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside. Add the onion, garlic, and mushrooms to the pan, and cook until the vegetables are tender. Sprinkle the flour over the vegetables, and stir to combine. Slowly pour in the beef broth, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the sour cream. Add the beef back into the pan, and cook until heated through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
